This is an extremely interesting documentary about the search for the real Mount Sinai in the book of Exodus in the Bible. The evidence they found is amazing and compelling, and the site is not on the Sinai Peninsula as is listed on most biblical maps. The video is very well done and answers a lot of age old questions with real evidence. It totally coroborates the Exodus story, including the parting of the Red Sea story in an almost Indiana Jones-type adventure. Presented in a non-sectarian way, it's a must see for Jews, Christians and anyone interested in archaeology and history. Fascinating!

The DVD "Mountain of Fire: The Discovery of the Real Mount Sinai " is not the original discovery though whatever shown in it is authentic. The site was first discovered by amateur biblical archeologist Mr.Ron Wyatt who is also credited with the discovery of Noah's Ark. It was he who first entered Saudi Arabia along with his two sons without proper papers and went on to discover the site. However, he and his sons were soon arrested by the Saudi authorities on the charges of espionage for the state of Israel. They were later released by the authorities after three months when Ron Waytt was able to convince the Saudi authorities that he had found the real "Mount Sinai". However, the evidence they had collected was confiscated by the authorities. After the incident, the Saudi authorities converted the entire area into an archeological site and fenced the whole area fearing that the site might lead to political instability as it would attract attention from Christians and Jewish people which they probably deemed undesirable for a Muslim state. However, after some years, Ron did manage to get the videos of Mt. Sinai and its surroundings with the help of a friend. It is only after this that the biblical explorers Bob Cornuke and Larry Williams visited the site and brought the evidence. If you notice in this DVD, the archeologists Bob and Larry state that some persons had gone in Saudi before and got arrested with their videos confiscated. They were talking about Ron.

If you really want to have more in-depth information about Mount Sinai, I strongly recommend that you go to the website of Wyatt Museum (just search it on any search engine like yahoo or google. Not being able to mention it due to restrictions) to get the original and more authentic footage (without any recreations as in this DVD) and see for yourself. The evidence presented on "The Exodus" DVD available on the said site is much vast and the onsite footage much detailed. It explores the events & route of the Exodus, revealing the extensive amount of evidence which proves the precise accuracy of the Biblical account in thrilling detail. Featuring the Red Sea Crossing site and Mt. Sinai in Saudi Arabia, it presents compelling evidences like the altar "Jehovah Nissi" made by Moses near the Rock at Horeb; the infamous Golden Calf altar; the remains of 12 Marble Pillars erected by Moses for the twelve tribes of Israel as recorded in the Scriptures; a Solitary tree located at the peak of Mt. Sinai; the water-providing large Rock at Horeb; the area of the Holy Precinct and Phoenician-style granite column erected later by King Solomon to commemorate the great event of Exodus. It also explores the underwater evidence such as Egyptian chariot remains, found at the red sea crossing site. The "Search for the Real Mt. Sinai" DVD supplements little information when compared to "The Exodus" DVD. However, as always is the case, the original things generally get subdued by their duplicates.

Not only this, the above site also contains DVDs on discoveries of Noah's Ark, Exodus, Sodom & Gomorrah and Ark of the Covenant. After viewing these DVDs, I really believe that the God had chosen Ron Wyatt to unearth all the major discoveries to be a witness for this last adulterous generation, as all the discoveries made by Mr.Ron Wyatt are incredible and possible only with the understanding given by the LORD. I feel priviledged and blessed to have witnessed the proof of God's mighty work in the past and also invite you to share the evidence put forth by God.

I was pleased to see a serious approach taken in consideration of the actual site for Mount Sinai, which coupled a solid scientific investigation with a review and comparison with what has been found at the traditional site in the Sinai Peninsula. The evidence is not only original and compelling, but conclusive.

Interesting, supported, provides sound reasons for faith in the Holy Scripture.

THIS INCREDIBLE DVD leaves one with the lasting experience of the Mountain of Prayer from the standpoint of Moses, a place where he met the GOD of the Universe face to face. It was the same for Elijah when he ran across the desert sands centuries later to visit with God at the mouth of the cave in the face of this mountain. Before they left the mountain a year after their arrival, the Hebrew people would learn prayer as well, standing in the entrance of their tents, tribe by tribe, waiting for the Glory of the Lord to descend upon the Tent of Meeting in the Ark of the Covenant. They waited upon the Lord of the Universe, even as through centuries, they have waited in their talits, their prayer garments, for the move of His Mighty Spirit. It all began here. The lesson this mountain speaks so clearly is still the same today, to wait in prayer.

WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! GOD first revealed himself on this Fiery Mountain. From there, he accompanied the Hebrews intimately in the Ark of the Covenant in the Tent of Meeting. Later, God's powerful presence continued to dwell in Ark of the Covenant as it was placed in the Holy of Holies in the Jerusalem Temple. After the huge, thick curtain in the Holy of Holies tore from top to bottom (Luke 23:45) at the crucifixion death of Jesus, the SPIRIT OF GOD found a new place to dwell ever more intimately with his people.... This is the ancient evidence, 3500 years a secret in the desert, of God working with his people.

This is an excellent video giving a more probable location to Mount Sinai than today's accepted location. The interviews of the people in the video are extremely good with video and biblical reasoning to back up their discoveries. This video only strengthens a christian in his or her belief of biblical history. Truly impressive!

A very emotional,beautiful movie which shows the world that it was GOD who protected this mountain and this place so that man will not come and make monastry there and pollute GOD's holy mountain and that it stays untouched and pure. Very beautifully presented and the facts tell the world that the BIBLE is true and our Heavenly GOD is a living and a very real GOD.
A must watch movie for the world.

Sure it's better than nothing but it leaves a deeply frustrating feeling after watching only this 45 minute video.

Two American explorers tell how they made it into the private estate of the king of Arabia (the Saudi's estate). We should take note the king and the slaves of his fiefdom can leave his property without problems, it's you getting in there the problem. Great views of the Arabina desert and the mountain itself. The scarce people from the area call the mountain "Moses Mountain", why do you think they do that? They spend some precious time explaining away why the traditional site in Egypt's Sinai peninsula can't be the real location, which is obvious enough and -to me- needs no wasting time on it.

The most spectacular thing, among many, was the split rock: imposing, awesome, right there, gigantic, on the side of the mountain. The whole idea of God's Mountain being in this forgotten and forbidden area of the world, while multitudes of tourists are flocking to Egypt to the the fake one is a whole different matter for thought. There is irony there, but at the same time, how should we feel if thousands of curious tourists were to crowd the holy ground of this mountain, to make it into a vulgar spectacle?

Beyond the sheer beauty and awesomeness of the images lies the thinking: What are we, believers in the one God of the Jews, us Christians and Jews, to make of this reality? How should it affect us? Should we try to send a bunch of anti-Christian scientists from national Geographic to dig deeper into this issue, or should we leave it as it is?

This is a video which gives compelling evidence that the real MT. Sanai is in Saudi Arabia and not the Sanai Peninsula as so long believed. I would reccomend this and another video, "The Exodus Revealed", to any interested in Biblical archaeology.

You will be blown away by this one!! Really hooks history, and religion together. You will NOT be disappointed!!!
