One of the best and lightest jackets for all around town.
Alex
There are only the two pockets, the right of which doubles as the stow pocket for the rest of the jacket to pack into – this feature works flawlessly.

It feels like a feather compared to fleece or synthetic filled jackets.

The Ghost Whisperer is incredibly light and warm. My first impression when I picked it up was doubt; “There’s no way a jacket could be this light and actually keep you warm.” Since then, however, I have been convinced otherwise. I run a bit hot but I can comfortably wear this jacket down to around 30 degrees with just a T-shirt underneath (I haven’t had the opportunity to test much colder than that). Due to the nature and breathability of down, however, I am also comfortable leaving the jacket on indoors when the temperature is around 65 degrees.

As for features, the Ghost Whisperer is very basic, drawing most of its appeal from the weight and the high quality down. There are only the two pockets, the right of which doubles as the stow pocket for the rest of the jacket to pack into – this feature works flawlessly. The zipper has been relatively snag-free in my experience and doesn’t agitate the chin. The hood is very comfortable, but takes away a little from peripheral vision and doesn’t turn with my head very well – I think this is because the hood is a little large for me, but there is no way to adjust the hood. Single pull hem drawcord works easily enough – just pull the loop and keep drafts from sneaking their way in. Movement in the jacket is incredibly unrestrictive – I can fully raise my arms and, while the jacket will come up a little bit, it will not come above my belt.

I got this jacket knowing to avoid water and, because of how thin it is, expecting to avoid any wind as well. However, I have been caught out in a little sprinkle and some sleet, as well as some relatively gusty days and I have been pleasantly surprised. There is some weather resistant coating on the jacket that kept the rain from soaking into the down.

He is into high quality very light weight for carrying outdoor/climbing equipment.
At first it looked so small and flimsy, like it was junk. It cost over $230! I was very scared when I opened the package!
Then he test-wore it. He says the fabric is tough, it's light, the down feathers keep the body heat in and he can layer under it. He wears this jacket all the time now, not just for climbing.

I've had this jacket about 2 months now and I've used it snowmobiling, skiing, and just to wear around the town. It has worked perfectly in every occasion.
The jacket itself is SUPER lightweight. Easily the lightest jacket I've ever owned. It feels like a feather compared to fleece or synthetic filled jackets. I was impressed with it the second I got it out of the package.
It is one of the only jackets that is down-filled and also water-resistant. This can really come in handy when skiing and if it ever starts to rain while wearing it. Even if the jacket gets wet, the down stays insulated and still keeps you warm.
It can be packed down super small to easily fit in a day-pack.
It seems like the smallest briars would be able to rip the fabric on the outside, but that hasn't happened to me yet, so Im still going to give it 5 stars.
The hood is kinda weird looking, but if you can get over that, it keeps your head just as warm as any winter beanie.
Compared to any other down light-weight jacket, this one offers the most comfort, warmth, and lack of weight out of any of them. I would recommend this to anybody in need of a lightweight jacket that will actually outperform Patagonia in every aspect.
Seriously impressed.

This is the most comfortable, lite weight jacket I have owned. It layers nicely with my shell, and I wear this year round in wisconsin
