I got my videos this past week. And they are just great. They really touch a person's heart. There is a little of all kinds of gospel music, but variety is the spice of life. The setting really helps to enhance the music. This reminds me of what I grew up with in Mo. All my family has been involved with gospel music all my life. These videos and music are for everyone, whether you think you like gospel music or not. Words are not adequate to describe the feelings these videos put into your heart and very being.

My wife and I enjoyed this DVD very much.It is of the high standed one has been used to from the Gaithers. I missed seeing a lot of the old faces which have moved on to Glory however there was a lot of new artists which were all of a high standed. Keep them coming Bill and Gloria...Ray

Typical Gaither spirital music concert. Professional performances by the best singers in the realm of spiritual music. For Gaither followers, don't miss adding this DVD to your prized collection.

This is a good DVD; however, I am not really big on "Opry" music. I bought this, looking for a certain song, which turned out to be on another DVD, -blue grass no less. (Oh well, got it!) Even so, I am not at all disappointed with this DVD. The title gave me clue, so the "Opry" flavor was not a surprise. If you enjoy country, you will enjoy this. Or, if you are like me, you will just take it for what it is, and enjoy having something a bit different. After all, The Grand Old Opry has been around for many decades, and some folks think it is the best of the best. So! This DVD honors that.

You can't get better music,if you like Southern Gospel, than a a Homecoming DVD. This one was done in Nashville and is very good.

The "Mountain Homecoming" concert with Bill and Gloria Gaither and their Homecoming Friends was filmed at Grove Park Inn Resort in Asheville, North Carolina. Among the opening numbers I especially enjoyed is Larry Gatlin singing "A Perfect Heart." I also enjoyed Bob Cain singing "Why Me Lord?" Two Blue Grass groups are featured in this concert: Doyle Lawson, with Quicksilver who sing and play "I Hold His Hand" The Lewis family, known for their country blue grass music are highlighted with "When I reach that City."

Another favorite of mine is the arrangement of "I have returned" as sung by Bonnie Keen, Donnie Sumner, and Gene MacDonald. The message in Debra Talley's song "God Took Away My Yesterday's" is especially meaningful. I also enjoy Lynda Randall's "God on the Mountain."

Among the Groups featured are: The Kingsmen singing "I'll Live Again," The Hopper Family who sing "Jesus Saves and the Homecoming Friends featured in a number of songs as well as providing back up for a number of the performers.

Bill Gaither interviews several favorites including: Larry Gatlin, Rex Nelon, Howard Goodman, George Younce, and Eldridge Fox. Gloria Gaither adds inspiration and worship with several recitations.

Although this is not one of my personal favorites of the series by the time Donnie Sumner and the Homecoming Friends finish the final song "Lord, I'm Coming Home" I was ready to replay the tape and start the concert over again. This is Christ honoring worship and entertainment.

As with all of the Homecomings, this will NOT disappoint you. If you like gospel music,you will love this
DVD. I hightly recommend this to everyone as the Gaithers do not stop producing excellence.

We purchased this DVD to share with friends as well as enjoying it ourselves. If you love gospel music, get this DVD.

this would probably be good if you love Christian music. I was hoping for more bluegrass or country and western acts/performances rather than the stable of singers present. The Christian message is fine, except for people like Doyle Lawson the acts are routine.
