This review is from: Mountain Jews: Customs and Daily Life in the Caucasus (Katalog (Muzeon Yisrael (Jerusalem)), Mis. 474.) (Paperback)
Tremendous production. Colors and photographs of this remarkable people who had been cut off from the main stream of Jewish cultural life for many, many years. This is a most un-Jewish group ever. They are artisans, rug weavers, flax growers, cowboys, not many doctors or lawyers, if any. Price is a bargain.
