I like this Rotary Tool over the others for a number of reasons.

1) Variable Speed - 5000-25000 RPM
2) 9.6V Ni-MH rechargeable battery
3) Use Dremel tools and accessories
4) Nice flex-shaft extension included
5) Telescoping stand for hanging tool when using flex-shaft
6) Great Aluminum Case to keep the kit together
7) Good Fit and Finish, Well Engineered and Durable
8) Cost - Very Affordable with these features

Dislikes:
1) The Charger uses a Wall-Wart Transformer that does not put out the rated 12VDC (Mine puts out nearly 15V) - this makes the battery get really hot if left in the charger for long. CAUTION: I am using mine this way but never leave it unattended and check for overheating often.
It seems to charge the battery fine but gets much hotter than other Ni-MH batteries that I use. I think getting this hot that the battery life may be reduced over time. I've notified the manufacturer but am not sure at this time if they will answer my email or not ... we shall see.

Overall I love this Kit, it's just what I wanted and much better than I expected. I got mine at Monstronix.com for ~$36 with free shipping.
It's a killer deal if you ask me!

Works great with the Peticure Safe Guard (for trimming our dogs nails)
The kit and that guard are just the ticket for our large dogs (we have three).

I highly recommend it!

So far I'm pleased with it. I do have a few concerns however. It uses a custom battery, which makes getting a back up difficult (if not impossible - haven't tried yet), and collet thread, making it incompatible with any Dremel accessories that have to screw onto the drive shaft. Also, it does not include a square driver collet adapter that would allow it to accept any Dremel tools that have a square driveshaft, like the sabre saw or rt angle adapter. If you can deal with these deficiencies and do some modifications to third party accessories, it is possible to get some accessories to fit as it has a removable accessory cap which covers Dremel compatible threads on the case. Oh, and the rather skimpy manual could do a better job of addressing these concerns. Other than that, so far I very pleased.

When I opened this gift, I was impressed by a lot of useful hardware including the tool itself, a battery, charger, stand, flexshaft, case, and many bits and pieces to get the work done.

However, when the battery is being charged it gets very hot. After a few charges, the battery failed completely so the tool is inoperative. I cannot get a response from the maker, so will buy another brand that can use all the Mountain accessories.

This would be a great deal if it worked...
