5.0 out of 5 stars Very cool story, March 14, 2000

This review is from: The Mountain Massacres: A Bomber Hanson Mystery (Hardcover)
I really liked this book because the two main characters (father and son) are completely at odds while trying to solve this strange mystery. The son, Tod, is doing his world-famous lawyer father's legwork against his will, although it's obvious he likes doing it. My favorite character was Bonnie, the secretary. Tod keeps saying how dumb she is, but she's the one that solves the mystery. Very funny and original!

4.0 out of 5 stars Quick, fun read, February 22, 2000

This review is from: The Mountain Massacres: A Bomber Hanson Mystery (Hardcover)
The father son lawyer team in a thinly veiled Santa Barbara town encounter all sorts of strange ones in THE MOUNTAIN MASSACRES. It is like the old Perry Masons: short with lots of surprises. The son character is very likeable and Bomber is an ace lawyer. Great courtroom scenes too. Not gory or profane like some mysteries out there today. I recommend it.
