Finally a recording of Peruvian folk music which is not polished, reworked in a studio or stylized with comtemporary instruments. This is the raw material, no frills, no re-working, the way it should be. No effort has been made to hide the true character of the people and the music. Recommended to anyone who is serious about world-music and ethnomusicology.

THIS IS ONE OF THE FEW GOOD TIPYCAL MUSIC I HAVE HEARD AS A NATIVE PERUVIAN, IT BRINGS BACK MEMORIES FROM CHILDHOOD, THIS IS SAMETHING MY MOTHER WILL ENJOY, THANK YOU
