Grab these collections if you can find them,
This review is from: Mountain Stage Live 8 (Audio CD)
For those of you who have never heard of "Mountain Stage" it's a syndicated weekly 2 hour radio program that features performances from all genres of musical artists. What's great about the Mountain Stage series is that you never quite know what's going to be on the CDs, but you're guaranteed to find some great tunes and discover some new artists.
Volume 8 is everything from folk (John Gorka's "The Gypsy Life"), jazz ("I know Better Now" AJ Croce), and folk rock (Patty Larkin "Do not Disturb.") There's nothing on this collection I'd skip over, and most of it is repeatable. This is one of the best engineered live CDs I've heard. Rebecca Kyle, May 2008

one of the best series goes on,

Another strong entry from this series that keeps getting better and better with each year. Here are gems from Ani DiFranco, a rocker from Peter Droge, and the raspy overtones of Graham Parker's "Howling Wind". Stage releases always focus on diversity and the connection the artist has with a live audience. Add this one to your collection.
