This cookbook holder is absolutely the best. It's large enough to hold most cookbooks. The oak wood is really beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone.

I purchased this model by mistake, intending to order another product from my save list. This unit is fine if you use only smaller format recipe books. But if you typically use oversize books or cooking magazines, the plastic shield will not cover the whole page area. Since I wanted something to both HOLD and PROTECT my books, I gave this one away and purchased the Clear Solutions Jumbo holder with a hinged front panel. The latter is fantastic.

I bought this cookbook holder 2 years ago and I just have to say that it is probably the best one out there. I can adjust it so it holds pretty thick cook books or move the acrylic protectors so that it allows me to read hand-written receipes (on a piece of paper) that my friends shared with me. The base is very sturdy and the acrylic covers are clear and allows for easy reading of receipes. The clear acrylic covers and the base can be stored away flat and don't take much room and it only takes a second to put it up and get started on cooking off a new receipe. Bottomline, it looks great, works fantastic and is PRICE RIGHT FOR THE QUALITY.

We have had ours for a couple of month now and it truly is a excellent cookbook holder. It is very durable, easy to setup, easy to store, and easy to clean. It will accommodate very large cookbooks as well as a thin magazine. Over the last couple of month we purchased about 4 additional ones as gifts for friends and family.
