I am so impressed with this Bread Box. Exactly like in picture, I can put two loafs of bread inside, on top I put a porcelain with fruits. My kitchen now has class and the box is so beautiful. If you have an old bread box, change it with this one. The color match exactly my furniture. This was the best purchase for such a low price. The item arrived in 2 days from the date I ordered.

I was looking for a new bread box for my brand new kitchen and this was perfect. I love the flat top for that occasional item I want to leave out. Delivery of my box was very quick. Thank you.

This bread box is poorly made and ugly. The "cherry" color is more like orange brown. It is so small that it would probably not hold the standard loaf of bread, but certainly not more than one. I ordered it as a Christmas gift and was too embarassed to give it to my sister. We called the company and they said we could mail it back to them for a full refund, which we did. It came back to us marked "delivery refused" by Rye. We called and we were told that they would send UPS, at no cost to us, to picked it up for a full refund. This never happened so we called again and were told the same thing. Once again they have not shown up. Do not do business with this company as they are not reliable and the merchandise is of extremely poor quality, only surpassed by the poorest of service I have ever encountered. Shame on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would recommend purchasing an antique or older used breadbox than this one. First off, the rattan or caging on the front was uneven and crooked. The nails were jagged and sticking out. The box itself was pretty, but cheap. It was obviously of poor quality and made in THAILAND.

This bread box was a wonderful find for me. I had been wanting one for a while, but I was looking for something more rustic and antique, as opposed to retro. I was having a lot of trouble finding what I wanted. Then I came across this, and both my husband and I are most pleased. The price was good, the product just what we were wanting to match our country decor. The stain on it is perfect, and it is an excellent match to our kitch cabinets. We received it quickly, it was well-packaged, and came exactly as it appears online.

The item arrived completely disassembled - and I had to put it back together - being careful to straighten nails that were bent etc. There was absolutely no packaging for this product. The breadbox itself is decent.

When I received this box it has a minute imperfection on top. Color is as it appears, exactly as I had expected. Not orangey at all, as I have read in another review. I almost bought a bread box at Walmart. They only offer one, and it is really thin "tin" like flimsy material and it was $18.99. My husband suggested I wait and get the wood one that I really wanted. I am so glad I listened to him, as I am very happy with this bread box.I would recommend it. * It does not have a handle protruding so for constant use with kids, I do not recommend it. It takes care when opening , so you don't let the door fall on the counter. But we have 4 cats, and the kitten would sneak up on the counter and tear into our bread. So this solved that problem. I was looking for something country yet would fit a variety of country decors. This was perfect. Not loud or obvious and blended well with ceramics and appliances. Only thing I was disappointed in was the size. Smaller loafs of bread were fine, but today's longer loafs took up too much room. But it was still able to handle a long loaf as some smaller specialty breads.

It arrived on time and was just like the one on line. Very nice color that matches my cabinets perfectly!!! With two big loaves of bread, you have to do a little bit of work to get them to fit right. Overall, I like it!!!
