I bought new living room furniture, which included getting rid of our old coffee table and replacing it with an oversized ottoman. I bought 2 of these trays to sit on the ottoman for drinks and remotes. They are simple but tasteful and would fit in with most decorating schemes.

I searched far and wide, willing to pay much more for the perfect tray. I loved the look of this from the picture and found that the tray in reality looks exactly like it. It is durable and fits perfectly in my living room decor. For the money, you will not find another tray better than this one.

It definitely is antique, fairly large, and more or less well made. The bottom, as others have noted, is slats so it's not totally flat. It's not ideal from a serving perspective for two reasons: 1. things, particularly tall bottles or glasses, may fall over more easily because it's not a solid flat piece of wood (but instead a series of small strips of wood that aren't totally flat), and 2. it doesn't seem to be water proof so if something did spill, it very well could leak. So, it's not ideal but it does look good and it is well made in general. The bottom of the tray is really the issue - the rest of it is good.

I use this tray on my large ottoman because I don't have room for an end table. It works well to hold the tv remote, and a couple of drinks. The quality of the wood on the bottom of the tray is a not as nice as I would have liked. Overall it works well and looks nice.

Got this for Mom. She loves it! It looks great and appears solid. she uses it in her rustic western-style basement/rec room. we recommend this product.

My only complaint about this tray is that it has several scratches. It was wrapped carefully with block styrofoam but still there are several scratches. The finish could be better. I already cleaned it with Murphy soap. I will put on a few coats of furniture polish later; the wood looks dry. They could have put on a few more coats of varnish. Otherwise, the tray looks sturdy and beautiful.

To improve dish stability, use a towel so that things don't crash around while you're carrying this wonderful tray.

I searched for a tray here about a year ago and bought this one at the time, based on the reviews. I have a large coffee table that we use as a dining table as well and my roommate insists on keeping magazines and papers on it. In order to clean the table, I'd have to move the huge stack, not to mention tv and iPod player remotes galore.

I purchased this tray to contain the rubbish in one easy place and now I can just pick up the tray to clean the table. It handles being chock full of stuff and has saved me the frustration of missing a paper or remote since I'm blind and sending it flying while cleaning. ;)

If anything ever happens to it, I hope I can get another. Love it!

It's a well made attractive tray for the money. Beware of the bottom. It's a thin veneer and I wasn't sure it would hold up over time.

I'm very happy with this tea tray. It's durable and easily holds a full pot of tea without feeling like it will bust. I love the color and finish.
