Mountain Woods Wine Glass Rack

This product is handsome and a definite space saver. The image provided does the product justice, and it was very simple to install. My only complaint with this product is that it is designed only to hold stemware with small diameter bases. For example, most of my champagne glasses have a 3 inch base, and this product holds those well. However, the majority of my red wine glasses have 3.25 inch bases and do not fit in the slots because their bases are too big.

Unfortunately, I did not read the previous reviews until after I had placed my order. That's when I realized that the bases on some of my wine glasses would be too large to fit. But I had already ordered three racks, to fit the entire area across my kitchen to living room pass-through. So, I planned on some customization to make it work. The racks arrived, and I was dismayed to find that of the three, the wood on one was a distinctly darker color. Still haven't decided whether or not to refinish them, so carried on to the customization. Completely dismantled one rack, and reassembled it, using only four of the five slats. This allowed us to fit the wider based glasses into the rack. The other problem was also mentioned in previous reviews. Need to be careful when sliding the wine glasses in, not to push them too far back, otherwise they will slide completely through, and out the back end. Will have to add some type of bumper to prevent this from happening.

This rack works okay but could be a little stronger. Slots for glasses are adequate but some glasses have bases to large for this rack, slots should be wider. I like the rack but could make improvements for durability and ability to accept larger glasses.

Although the assembled rack didn't fit our space, it was easy to unscrew & make adjustments. We also moved the stemware support slides to accommodate larger base stemware on a couple of the slots. The wood matches the interior of our cabinets perfectly and it's an easy item to install for undercabinet use.

This is a lovely wooden wine glass holder and fit right where I needed it. However, due to its construction, it will not hold over half of the glasses I wanted to put in it and I will be replacing it w/a chrome one that allows for more size versatility. The problem w/this wooden one is that if the round base of the glass is anything but perfectly flat, it will not fit in the narrow space allowed. Most of my stemware has a slight curvature where the stem attaches and that won't allow it to fit in the narrow slot. I wish I had saved the box because I would return it. To me, it's a design flaw that a perspective buyer needs to be aware of.

Perfect for under cabinet for easy access to glasses and space saver for lack of cabinet space. Looks very nice as a decorative touch also.

This rack fit perfectly in my built in hutch. It was very easy to install and looks great. My glasses with a large base do not fit; but I filled it with my 'regular' base glasses anyway. This perfectly satisfied the need I had for additional rack space for my collection of wine glasses from local wineries.

The undercounter wine rack is high quality and beautiful!It fits alot of glasses. It is well made .

1) The rack is very attractive and nicely constructed!
2) The price is RIGHT!
3) I had my doubts about the screws holding it firmly in place, but once installed, monkeys could swing from it and it isn't going anywhere.
4) It was quick and easy to install.
5) Finding a wooden stemware suspension rack in a store for an affordable price is quite difficult. The few available are metal. Can't imagine why because you'll break your stemware ..!

HOWEVER ... your stemware bases MUST be LESS than 3" in diameters or else they don't fit ... LESS than, not equal to .. !!

I can definitely use one but I am considering returning the other at this time. About half my stemware has 3" bases ...

Oh well. It's still a great product! Pair it with one that takes the larger bases ...
