Caroline Ashton hasn't heard from her brother Peter for over six months, worried she goes to Mexico to find Peter.
The plane she is traveling on runs into a storm, when the plane hit an bad air pocket. Caroline injures her head on the back of a seat.
Diego Rivel, takes her to his grandmother's house, the old lady knew Diego was in love with Caroline, and she sits back to enjoy Diego mess up his own love life. Diego Peter's boss.
He falls in love with her at first sight, but she thinks Diego caused Peter to go belly up on the horse ranch he purchased two years ago.
Diego sends Caroline on a wild goose chase to the ranch that Peter no longer owned, it now belonged to Diego.
Diego introduces Caroline to Senora Dominguez and her daughter Isabel, only to have her brother Peter bring Dick Weldon, someone who bought a horse that belonged to Diego.
Peter falls in love with Isabel, Dick falls in love with Caroline.
But Diego gets rid of Peter by firing him, and then he rehires him, because he felt people from different countries can't have a successful marriage.
Until he realizes he wants to marry Caroline.
