5.0 out of 5 stars Fascinating for kids and adults!, February 27, 2008

This review is from: Mountains and Volcanoes (Young Discoverers: Geography Facts and Experiments) (Paperback)
My 7-year old borrowed this from the school library, kept it for an extra week, THEN asked if we could buy our own copy! Easy to read with good illustrations. There are experiments on almost every page to reinforce the ideas in the book. The experiments were easy to do, fun and varied--everything from knocking down a tower of blocks during an "earthquake" to creating your own geyser.

If this book is indicative of what the series is like, I am going to become a regular customer. Well done!
