4.0 out of 5 stars Bad sizing info for xlnt product
Based on the info provided, I bought the small size for my Lumix DMC-LX5, which measures 4.25w x 2.5h x 1 7/8d. It did not fit.
However, it does fit (just barely) in the medium size, which I also bought.

These are the actual interior dimensions:
Small - 4 x 2.5 x 1.25
Medium - 4.5 x 3 x 1.75

Note that Amazon lists sizing for...

1.0 out of 5 stars nice build, wrong specs
I agree with a couple of the other reviewers here that say that the dimensions are off. I checked my cameras dimensions and checked the camera bags dimensions and it says that I have a bunch of extra room. Turns out...no. I can't even zip it all the way. Quite annoying.

Regarding build and quality, this definitely is well constructed just order a size...

The product itself is well made and well padded. The tough exterior is made of recycled PET bottles.

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect for quick access to your camera, July 8, 2010

Used the cyber II for the past 2 years with a canon sd850. The flaps on the back open up with velcro so you can easily attach the case to a backpack strap or belt. Whenever I bring my camera places, the convenience of having it right there (no fumbling around in a larger bag), means I take a lot more photos. Daily it stays attached to my Timbuk2 bag strap for quick draw photos when I'm out and about. During hikes or other outdoors excursions, it sits on top of my shoulder piggy backing on a shoulder strap. Great for what it is! No design defects thus far. My case shows wear, but nothing unexpected.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Carry-all, April 13, 2010

I bought this for my digicam and was so surprised with the strength and durability I added it to my backpacking gear list. I've used it for binoculars, a GPS and for my mp3 player. Well made, thoughtfully designed and usefull for much more than cameras.

Tip: Check the "interior" dimensions in the product description against any item you want to carry securely. They offer several sizes of this design and I recomend them all.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Little Pouch, September 20, 2010

Even though this was too small for my Canon Powershot SX20IS I can't bring myself to return it. It is so nicely constructed and such a cool looking bag, I keep hoping I will find something to carry in it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Handy Dandy Camera Case, January 9, 2012

This camera case is great! I got the size small, which is just perfect for my Canon Powershot SX230, the new model. Its a little snug, but just about perfect! The color is beautiful, a kind of terra cotta, which goes well with the bright blue of the camera. Its also small enough that it will fit in my purse, so that's great too! Overall, quite pleased!

5.0 out of 5 stars A very good camera case, January 3, 2012

While traveling overseas, I grew uncomfortable with my camera knocking around loose in my backpack. I wanted a case for it, and this one fills the bill nicely. I'm particularly impressed with the quality of construction. It's sturdy, padded, has a slot for spare battery and memory card, and has secure closures and secure belt loop. I like that the fabric is recycled plastic (that's my milk jug in there!).
I noted the comments about the sizes running small, and I ordered a medium for my Olympus VR-330 (4.2"W x 2.6"H x 1.5"D). There's about a thumb's width of extra space, and that's fine. The camera slides in and out easily.
The Aztec Red color is a bit more brick red than the orange in the Amazon photo. Looks good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mixed Blessing, October 12, 2011

This review is from: Mountainsmith Cyber II Recycled Fabric Camera Bag (Apparel)
.

The Mountainsmith Cyber II Camera Bag is a mixed blessing for me.
I bought the bag to hold my PDA. I use the PDA often and do not like to carry bulky or heavy objects in my pockets. Unfortunately this bag is too small for my PDA. They advertise the bag as 3 by 4.5 by 2 inches (internal), but it is just under 3" wide and I need the full 3".
I was preparing to send it back when my wife said she wanted it. She has a small mini camera that fits perfectly in the Mountainsmith Cyber II. Since this bag is well made with abundant protection for her camera, she decided it is better than the one she used.

I noticed that, although the product includes a nice detachable shoulder strap, there are no hooks or eyelets for attaching the strap. Again, I thought I would be returning the item. Then she noticed the belt attachment and judged it perfect. The belt attachment is the best I have seen. It is adjustable and strong. It has two velcro straps that firmly join together to surround the belt. As my wife noted, it can firmly secure the camera on the shoulder strap of her purse. Since her camera in this case weighs so little, she can attach her camera to her purse strap and have only one strap to wear. I called it a brilliant idea.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice case, inexact sizing issues, April 21, 2011

The sizing for the extra-small case is way off. I expected there to be extra room for my Fuji XP-20 camera with the measurements given - 3.38 by 4.75 by 1.75 inches (W x H x D) (external). The REAL measurements are 2.8 by 4.5 by 1.75 (or closer to 2.0 with camera inside). I will keep the bag, but it is a very tight fit.

After trying several other cases that worked but weren't quite what I was looking for, I found this. Got the Medium and I love it. Sturdy recycled 'Redura' fabric. It is flat enough that it fits in my purse/bag but has a strap that is great if I want to carry it cross-chest. It also has the velcro strap for belt or to attach to my DSLR camera bags.

I will say that I do not use the neck strap, and don't know that it would be such a great fit if you did... First Mountainsmith product, but I will definitely be looking for more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fits the Callaway uPro!, January 2, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Mountainsmith Cyber II Recycled Fabric Camera Bag (Apparel)
Good solid product! I was looking to house my new golf GPS, a Callaway uPro golf GPS. The internal measurements for the case matched the size listed for the GPS, but you can never be sure. I am happy to report the uPro fits well, with a little room to spare. It even has an internal pocket for a spare battery if you have one.

I like the belt loop assembly. It's hard to explain, but it has multiple Velcro flaps that allow the case to be worn in upright, or horizontal position. I do not use it this way, but for a camera the case allows you to keep the zipper open and just use the top Velcro flap for quick and easy access. For storage you have the zipper under the top flap.

Solid construction, great price. Nice!
