I was looking for something that I could use as a "personal item" type carry-on and for day hikes. This fits the bill very nicely. There are enough subcompartments so I can organize things and know where they are. There's a big main zipped compartment which also has a small inner zip mesh compartment, there's a smaller outer zip compartment, plus two outside mesh pouches. The main compartment also has a clip where you can attach keys. It was comfortable to wear - a big improvement over having to deal with a pocketbook when lugging a hefty carry-on.

I use this fanny sack as my every day purse. It is small yet holds so much. I carry my phone and kindle in it and I never worry that they might be damaged, the sack is very padded where it needs to be. It has great pockets.

This has to be one of the most comfortable fanny packs I have ever worn. Well padded and lightweight, yet the material is sturdy enough for me not to worry about tossing it around or storing it in my locker. It has enough compartment space for me to fit my kindle, smartphone, snacks and wallet. I can even securely snap my keys inside on the key clip without worry. The netting on the sides allows you to travel with two water bottles, but I discovered I could use one for water and the other for my small thermos of tea. Perfect for a day out and about.
