They are nice looking. I hung heavy bookshelf speakers on them (about 6 pounds) and they worked well. I hung them on the wall, but they could be hung on the ceiling. They are not snow-white (but of beige/light cream/almond/off-white color) but this was not an issue for me. They tilt and swivel, which was nice, as I had to reposition my speakers for the right acoustic effect. Would recommend, as give your speakers more style! Please use them on a stud if possible, especially if using heavy speakers!
