This C.D. takes some of Disney's best songs and makes them into an upbeat disco sound.I teach using these songs. I use them in my P.E. class for running, jumping and performing sport skills. The students can sing with them while they jump rope or run around the gym. They love to dribble the ball while listening to Number 10 (Lion King.)The first song sets the tone for the C.D. with Donna Summer singing someday.I searched high and wide for songs suitable for elementary students that are clean and free from profanity. It is hard to find these type of songs. I enjoy using this C.D. hour after hour and find myself playing the songs for my own pleasure. It makes the time go faster for the student's as well. I would recomend this C.D. for any elementary teacher, pre-school teacher or family that would like Disney songs with a beat.

IF YOU LOVE DISNEY SONGS, AND YOU LIKE REMIXES, THIS IS THE CD FOR YOU. THE SONGS ARE UPBEAT VERSIONS OF DISNEY MOVIE FAVORITES. I LOVE THIS CD.

These dance versions of Disney songs are just AWESOME! I especially love Topsy Turvy. One of my favorite Disney songs with a cool techno beat. The macarena version of the Tiki Room song is very creative as well.
I think I remember hearing this music at Epcot about 7 and a half years ago. I remember hearing a dance mix of Under the Sea when I was in line to meet Dopey(Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs) and then a dance mix of Topsy Turvy when it was my turn to meet him. It was a wonderful memory. :)
I really gotta get this CD. Hopefully,I will at some point.

We first heard a few of these tracks at Disney World a couple of years ago and have been looking for them on CD ever since. So excited to have FINALLY found this---just wish they had made more like it!

I am a dance teacher and am constantly looking for new music that is a little different. This CD fits that description. It is a bit funky and carries a good beat to dance to throughout.

This is a great cd!!! I had it stolen years ago and finally found it again!

I got this CD back when I turned ten. I just turned 21 and I'm still listening to it. I even had to upload it on to my computer cause the actual CD is wearing out from too much play. This CD is fun, cool, and every energitic. I love playing it when I need something that'll keep me moving and allows me to sing at the same time.

Some of the best tracks in my opinion are Cruella De Vil, So This is Love, and If I Never Knew You. Its in these songs that a lot of effort is taken to make them sound new and upbeat. I especially like If I Never Knew You which is a song you're probably going to only find on the original soundtrack since the song was cut from the movie for time. On a whole, the CD has a totally different spin then any other Disney CD and for that reason, Disney fans will like it. Plus there isn't a huge flux of name dropping with this CD like there are with other Disney reinterpretations (The Disney Mania Series).

The CD still has some weak points, Huge Disney hits like Beauty and the Beast and Kiss the Girl, really fall short and are my least favorite. The beats that have been added under the original song in some cases aren't as interesting to listen to and kind of make you long for the movie original.

All in All, Disney fans will enjoy this CD but fans of serious house beat music may not and its also an interesting and unique gem to add to any CD collection.

This CD is a must have for Disney fans of all ages! For true fans. This Music or most of it, is used for the preshow/atmospheric music before the nightly spectacular Fantasmic! at Disney MGM studios, in Walt Disney World. Its great to dance to and a wonderfull memory of your Walt Disney World Vacation.

If you are looking for music that is fun for both children and adults than this CD is for you. It has the beat for the adults and the Disney for children of all ages. It is also great for dance classes with children that are too old for the children's music and too young for the radio songs. It has the prefect beat for them to follow and no worries about any inappropriate language. I highly reccommend this CD to anyone who has children or is a child at heart.

If the main goal was to entertain kids only, then this collection of popular disney songs from films serves its purpose. However, it is highly unlikely that kids would pick this CD as a must-have for their disney collection given the format in which these songs are presented. Club music has come a long way and Disney's dance mixes are a disservice to Clubland.

It is disheartening to hear legendary artist Donna Summer perform a house version of "Someday" to disastrous results. The vocals are amazing! Undoubtedly, she could never possibly disappoint, but the music track and production are done poorly.

Enlisting red-hot, then, vocalist Robin S ("Show Me Love") to make "Colors of the Wind" her own was a dream come true. Excellent delivery with magnificent vocals. The production still falls short to make this a memorable record.

Both singers had massive sucesses with their previous singles: Donna Summer's "Melody Of Love (Wanna Be Loved)" was Billboard's Top Dance Single Of The Year and Robin S's "Show Me Love" became an instant classic.

David Morales (remixer of Donna Summer's "Melody Of Love (Wanna Be Loved)" and Stonebridge (remixer of Robin S's "Show Me Love") would have been, then again, perfect to do the remixing honors respectively. Top singers deserve top DJs who are masters in their craft.

The rest of the songs are for-kids-only uptempo takes that do not necessarily make any of them sound any better. While the vocalists do a fine job performing the songs, the production seems to have been at the helm of an amateur DJ.

All of us who have been enthralled by the magic of Disney one way or another should step outside the kingdom to find inspiring club music that our Mouse could introduce to its subjects if only it wished upon a star to meet the likes of Hex Hector, Victor Calderone, Richard "Humpty" Vission, Frankie Knuckles, Todd Terry, Junior Vazquez, John "Jellybean" Benitez, Tony Moran, Dirty Vegas, Shep Pettibone et al.
