good basica mouse and good memory stick reader,

I've had this mouse for a while now and its never given me any problems. It's optical eye is top notch and the reader/writer functions are flawless. If you want a deviced to help you transfer memory stick files and doubles as a mouse, this is it. If you're looking for a universal flash reader, this is not for you or if you're looking for a super mouse with extra buttons for web browsing, this isn't it either. It's just a great basic mouse and memory stick device, for bells and whistles--you'll need to look elsewhere.

While it's pretty basic, it works really well.
Pros: -It's a decent mouse AND it's a memory stick hard drive using ONLY ONE USB. -I use the memory stick for my camera, but I've also used the mouse and the stick as a poor man's thumb drive. -It has served me well on my PC and my Mac, and seems to be plug and play with all 4 of our computers. -Has a thumb "knob" similar to a wheel, think of it a more like a joystick... I press it up or down and my screen scrolls continuously -Optical "ball-less" mouse, so it doesn't pick up dirt -Has a red access light to tell you that insertion of a memory stick was understood -Plug and play on all the Macs and PCs I have tried, about 10 total Cons: -Only reads the one type of memory stick (won't read SD or others as the slot is one size) and only in a limited number of MB... max 128 MB -Heavier than other mice -No wireless option Neutral: -Mouse click is louder than most, might be a feature might be annoying... I am neutral Bottom line: I bought a second one for convenience... it's great. I keep using it even after buying a new computer... it has survived 4-5 new computers in our family while the mice that came with those computers have not fared as well.

It should be noted, that while all of its functions perform properly on Mac OS X (mousing, right-clicking, memory card reading), that the scroll knob is just that, a nob, not a wheel. It slides forward or back, springing to its state in the middle an eighth inch back and forth. Again, it's not a scroll wheel, but a type of switch that slides toward the mouse cable, and back toward the hand, a big detriment to scrolling.
