Book Description

4 and up
Help! Cook has overslept and his kitchen has been overrun with all kinds of creatures. Lift the flaps to find out who’s hiding in the marmalade, the fruit bowl and in surprising places all around the kitchen in this cleverly written and engineered lift-the-flap story. Written in nutty rhyme, children will delight in the humorous story line and the interactive nature of this hide-and-seek book.

Editorial Reviews

From Publishers Weekly

Every diner's nightmare comes true in A Mouse in the Marmalade by Jonathan Emmett, illus. by Caroline Jayne Church, perhaps topped only by A Turtle in the Toilet from the same team. Zippy verse accompanies liftable flaps that reveal the pop-up creatures in hiding ("There's a spider in the spinach,/ a snail inside the cake").

This review is from: A Mouse in the Marmalade (Hardcover)
My kids love this book! The flaps are very heavy duty and hold up to a lot of tugging!
