Beautifully packaged like all previous Lemon Jelly releases, Nice Weather only falls short with the amount of material on offer: just 2 (short) tracks, one previously unreleased, and the video for their previous single, Spacewalk. Although it doesn't offer much less than your average single there's something terribly precious and twee about this release; maybe it's just the song Nice Weather itself, but this seems a triumph of style over substance. If you like collecting official releases, with all the attendant packaging and fetishising of cds as desirable objects, you'll find this a good addition. If you want a little more music for your money, buy the album.
