I am very pleased with this watch.I shopped around before making this purchase. Amazon had the best deal by far. The watch is far nicer than I had expected. The photo does not do it justice.It is much more attractive than shown. I have owned Movado watches in the past and was pleased with the quality so I felt comfortable buying another Movado as a gift, especially through Amazon.

I purchased my Movado Amorosa Watch through Amazon less than only 4 months ago. It is a beautiful watch, but unfortunately the band just recently came apart at the hinge section just below where it mounts to the case. Local jewelers told me this must be repaired by an Authorized Movado Service Center as they were not able to repair it and it being a manufacturing defect. HOWEVER, due to it being purchased online through Amazon the manufacturer's warranty is VOID since it was not purchased through an authorized dealer. Amazon only offers a 30 day return, so now I have to pay to have the band serviced or replaced!!! BEWARE- basically you will only get a 30 day warrenty with any Movado purchase online!

you can't get any more classier than Movado...well you CAN but that also comes with an added price!! This watch was a steal at this price! Everyone thinks i paid a good 500 something..when the truth is i paid less than half that!! If you're classy, or looking for a gift for that hard to shop for someone, this is for you. Also a great Movado try me piece. This was my first movado purchase from Amazon, but won't be my last.

i have never owned a movado before, but i know they are good watches and i really liked this watch online. when i got it, it was even more fabulous than i expected...its sleek and sophisticated, but still fun and goes with so much. i would definitely recommend this a a present to someone or even just a present to yourself. great price for a great watch.

I got this watch for my wife for her birthday and she thought I had spent a fortune. She always wanted a real Movado and with a great price like this I could actually get her one. Much cheaper than retail for the exact same watch.
A beautiful, elegant designer style with a real feel of quality. The watch feel very solid, yet not at all bulky. The safety closing closes well and my wife finds the watch extremely comfortable.

I purchased this watch for my wife as an anniversary gift. I was very pleased when I saw the watch for the first time. The Amarosa is beautifully styled. My wife loved it once she saw it. I almost purchased this watch at a few places but I decided to shop around. Amazon had the best price by far and the shipping was very fast. If you are looking for a beautiful watch at a great price the Movado Amarosa is an excellent selection.

This watch is so beautiful and very elegant, i have received many compliments on this watch. The price is great and i recommend it to anyone looking for a good brand watch that looks great

I've had this watch for three and a half years now, and never take it off. I wear it through a shower and overnight in bed, and it's taken quite a beating. Through bartending, intramural sports, and everyday activities, I've scuffed up the band some, but as promised, the face of the watch is utterly unmarked.

The watch itself is so classically designed and elegant without being loud. I feel comfortable wearing it with sweatshirts as I do a cocktail dress, and though the blank Movado face takes awhile to get used to in terms of telling time, I can't imagine going anywhere without it now.

The batteries recently ran out a few weeks ago - after a $15 battery replacement, I fully expect to wear this watch for another good 3 years. I can't recommend this highly enough.

***UPDATE***

Ironically, two months after I wrote this review, the watch began to steadily lose minutes despite another battery change quickly following the last; I must have jinxed myself bragging about how I'd wear it for another few years.

So, with this first watch's machinery now out of commission, I purchased the exact same model from Amazon. Within two months of purchase, with regular, non-strenous wear, the face got scratched on its sapphire crystal scratch resistant face which is guaranteed for a lifetime.

Unfazed, I contacted Movado customer service, who directed I send it into a repair shop nearby. I did so, in July. It is now the following March and not only have I been contacted by them, they claim that they never received the item despite the fact that I purchased delivery confirmation on the package, which clearly shows that it was delivered.

I am at a loss of what to do. An obviously loyal customer previous to this, I now have to retract my gushing recommendation I previously gave, because as soon as the going got tough, Movado's customer service got going. I essentially lost $300 right off the bat. Very disappointing that their watch was not good quality and then they followed this up with a refusal to acknowledge anything had ever occurred with me. Dishonest company - don't purchase from them.

We didn't realize it until Xmas day, but we had both gotten each other a Movado. She got me a Juro and I got her this one. We're both very happy Movado-for-life customers. This is her 3rd (least expensive) Movado and she's absolutely thrilled with it because she didn't have anything simple and silver/black. She says it wears more like a comfortable bracelet. And to top it off, this exact watch (no not with the diamond) was at a local Movado store in the city for over 3 times the amount Amazon is asking!!! That's insane that Amazon can sell these so cheaply - best price on the net for Movado. Keep it up Amazon!

My wife graduated from grad school and this watch was her gift. She loves the way it looks and getting the watch adjusted was simple at a near by retail store (Macys).
