I was able to purchase this watch from JomaShop.com for the 50% discount mentioned in the review above. Since then, the Amazon price has increased by about $50 but the watch is still well worth it (considering it retails at almost $800).

The pictures listed here simply do not do it justice - go to a Movado company store or authorized retailer - and try it on. I almost bought mine on the spot at double the price!

This is a very classy dress watch at a very reasonable price. The stainless steel band is accented by semi-circles to complement the distinct Movado motif. The butterfly clasp completely hides the beginning/end of the bracelet. This clean look is finished with a scratchproof sapphire face and rhodium dot to signify the 12-o-clock mark.

I get complimented on this watch all the time, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for one. As with all Movados, if you have trouble reading an analog dial, much less a numberless face, this watch is not for you.

This watch is much more beautiful in person than on the picture. It is elegant, but not thin/petite, like most Movado watches, so it is perfect for a guy with a bigger wrist, but not a huge wrist. I bought it for my husband who is 6'2", 200 lbs, and it is just perfect. Let me give you the real measurements of the watch, as I could not really find accurate measurements anywhere:
case diameter 38 mm, without the knob, with knob 42.5 mm
band width 21 mm
near the face(widest part) 27 mm
case thichkness 7 mm
band thickness 3 mm

Hope it helps. It arrived in one business day, ordered on a Friday, received on a Monday. Can't tell you how it runs, because I just got it; in a few years, I will be able to assess that aspect of the watch.

I ordered this magnificent, beatiful watch from this site back in November for only $400 brand new and all the movados on amazon were selling for 40, 50, and even 60% off! Now they're selling for full price. What happened? However if you go to ebay, there are several sellers selling brand new, and real movados for these prices. Not saying that the watch isn't worth the whole price, I would just rather pay less.

Purchased this for my fiance. He absolutely loves it. Great quality, arrived quickly. We had looked around for Movado watches - and really liked the Luno watch. It is absolutely stunning on... my fiance comments all the time on how much he likes it. (You can get the back engraved too if you wish.)

Amazon was offering the best price (the department stores we went to were asking twice this listed price). Although I found a few other online stores offering around the same price, I have purchased over 50 items from Amazon and trust their services (and have always had quality service from them).

This was my husband's christmas present and he loved it, it's a very ellegant watch, with a simple detail on the stainless steel band that makes it look so nice. It's really worth it. I highly recommend this product to get it for yourself or as a gift.

I think the Movado Luna Mens watch is the best deal here in Amazon. I searched all over for this watch and you cant beat the price. It's worth it. I wanted to get something special for my boyfriend this Christmas and I do have to say it was breath taking from the moment you open the box it looks beautiful. All my co-workers were in shock of how beautiful the watch is. It's better in person. If you are thinking about getting it for yourself or as a gift, go for it. You'll be truely happy with it!!!!!!

Just got my Movado Luno. It's easy to read despite lack of numbers. Feels nice and look great. The instructions included are very sparse and mostly irrelevant. Different movado watch types are listed and how to wind them up. I didn't really see the Luno described but I just set the time and the watch started up without any fanfare. Not much else to say. Looks very classy; hopefully the expensive swiss parts inside will keep going for a long time.
Amazon's price is the best I found.

I gave this as a gift to my boyfriend and he loves it. It is very very sharp and there are so many people that compliment him on his watch.

I ordered 2 movado watches for my son to choose from for his birthday, the Luno and Juro. He chose the Luno because it is a really great looking watch and somewhat unique with the "moon shapes" on the band. The juro was a nice watch also, but didn't have that extra something. It looked ordinary. The luno has a larger watch face, which I thought might be too big, but it wasn't. My son turned 18 and loves his new watch!

Today, I purchased this great watch from my local Movado Store, instead of on Amazon only because I knew that I needed over an 8" bracelet. Movado included a set of extra links for free with the purchase of the watch. I could not wait to put this watch on and it is good that I did because I have already received compliments on the watch from several friends, a waitress at dinner tonight and a salesperson at a clothing store.
The kicker was that I was originally going to pay the $599 that they were asking locally, because it came with a two year warranty and the larger link set. However, this morning when I showed up at the store the salesperson that introduced me to the watch last week greeted me with a huge smile and said guess what, your watch is on sale and only $400!
I could not believe that I was walking out of there with this beautiful timepiece for less than half of the asking price! I am at ease because it is obviously authentic, has a warranty and the crew at Movado were so knowledgeable and helpful with all my questions about every watch in the store.
I am definitely happy with my purchase...even more so that is was two hundred dollars less then I originally planned. They offered me the woman's version for the same price to give to my girlfriend. I might have to go back and buy it, knowing her birthday is in two weeks and Christmas is around the corner.
I say if your on the fence about a "high dollar" watch then dive right in because you will not regret this one. The sleek dial and nice heavy bracelet give the watch a solid feeling that shows integrity.
