The Movado Women's Vivo Watch sets its own standard for elegance and beauty. This unique timepiece features Movado's signature museum dial with its signature hour marker at the 12 o'clock. The watch's black dial is offset beautifully with gold tone hands and a soft-edged 27 millimeter wide oval yellow gold case and bezel. The watch also features a gold bracelet with a jewelry clasp. This exquisitely crafted, one-of-a-kind watch runs on Swiss quartz precision movement, has a virtually scratch-proof sapphire crystal, and is water resistant to 99 feet.

Movado, which is the Esperanto word for "movement," is renowned for its Swiss craftsmanship and the widely recognizable plain clock face with a single point at 12 o'clock on its museum timepieces. This minimalist design was intended to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon.

When I gave this Movado watch as a Christmas present, the GF actually shed a tear, she was so overwhelmed. Typical of my own Movado, it is stunning in its elegant simplicity. The GB price was a fraction of retail. We certainly won't wear these out on the beach or on the boat, but at work or a social occasion, the watch will draw admiring glances and compliments.
