I bought this watch as a gift for my mother. She had always wanted a Movado watch because they are so sleek and classy. I wasn't sure which one to get her, but this one really stood out because it was feminine without being girly and had a very classic shape that would go with everything. When she opened the box she cried tears of joy. I don't think she's taken it off since then, which means there are about three other watches accumulating dust in her jewelry box!

I had an Anne Klein watch very similar to this watch when I needed a second hand. Now that said watch has disappeared, and now that I am so employed as not to require a second hand, I ordered the watch I have always wanted and I am happy every time I look at it! It is truly as beautiful as in the picture, and just keeps time like anything.

This watch is absolutely gorgeous. Great value for swiss movement and classic styling. I love my Movado.

This is a great looking watch. Also water resistant for the shower. I like the Bella or Bela (sp?) slightly better. But only drawback is that is does scratch very easily. It is all shiny and polished looking new, but in the first week the bottom (where it rests when I type) is totally scratched up. Don't expect it to look new forever.

Aside from the many surface scratches, the lack of a direct Movado warranty, and the fact that I must have the watch sized, it is a pretty good watch.

I had ordered this item from another source and only after I completed the order found out that they didn't have it in stock and didn't know when they would get it. They had even already charged my credit card! After putting an inquiry on my credit card charge, I reordered the watch from Amazon and had it at my door in 2 days. It was in the Movado box with all the warrnty information included. At close to 50% off retail, I was thrilled. It was a Masters Degree graduation gift for my daughter and what a beautiful way for her to begin the next phase of her life.

I have been searching a good watch for a while, and I ordered one from Gucci, which doesn't fit me well and I had to return it. My husband suggested this watch to me and I really love it. It looks very elegant and the movement is very acurate. Besides, the price is very good for a swiss movement.

Just love this watch that can be worn with everything from jeans to professional clothes. Priced it in the stores and on Overstock, and I was able to get it for more than $200 less than it was selling in other places. It is a fabulous deal for the money spent.

I bought this for myself and really like it: haven't taken it off since it arrived. The battery in my Tag Heuer died and I found out it takes 6 weeks and almost the price of the Movado watch to send it back to the factory to get changed! This is lots less expensive, but doesn't look it. Very elegant and sleek.

Personally, I don't understand why a quartz watch with two bare hands and no additional functionality should cost this much, but that's me. I own a high end solar Pro-Trek watch and love its devices, options and sensors, but again, that's my choice. In spite of all my inclinations and taste for sophisticated gadgets, I bought this as a gift to my wife trusting our Amazon.com friends' reviews, and I didn't make a mistake. The choice was right and she loved it, because, I guess, this watch is a bit like her - classy, elegant and simple.
