This is Movado's signature dial, made famous by American designer Nathan George Horwitt, who intended his minimalist design to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The dial is capped with a virtually scratch-proof sapphire crystal and framed by a smooth round bezel. I purchased this exact watch from another dealer. The watch is attractive, but the 6 1/2 inch length is short and I needed an additional link for the bracelet. I was told to call Movado who would send up to 2 links at no charge. At this price, I certainly expected that! I called customer service and they gave me a confirmation number, and said they would send me the link I needed in about 3 weeks. Then...nothing. I called back after a month, they told me there is a charge of $150 per link so they had, on their own, cancelled the order, and never bothered to called me. I will NEVER buy anything Movado again.
