I've been seeing ads for the Movado museum watch since the 80s and thought it always looked beautiful although I'd never seen it in person. I finally bought this one online. It turned out to be quite a disappointment. It's a nice looking watch but it's cheaply made. It feels flimsy when you hold it in your hand, the leather strap is too short and I have to keep mine on the largest opening, and the buckle broke immediately the very first time I put the watch on. I would not buy again...

BTW, I now see that this watch is listed for $450 on Amazon?!?!?! I paid somehwere between $150 and $180 from Amazon in early 2007. At that price it was an OK watch. At $450, this watch is a total rip off -- defiantely not worth that!!!

Bought that for wife in April, by December it did not work anymore and have to send it for warranty. Will avoid this brand in the future....

I was looking for a classic, and my Movado is it. It's both simple and elegant. I wear it everday, whether to work or out for the evening and it always looks great.

I Love This Watch! I wanted a Movado so I went to Nordstrom.com and they wanted more than twice what I paid through Amazon. It is a beautiful authentic Movado Museum watch. I dress it down with jeans and a turtleneck or up with my Tahari suits. Quite simply it is understated elegance.

This is an excellent dress watch!!!!. Besides the fact that is a MOVADO, you almost forget you're wearing it cause is extremely ligtweight.

Great product... came in only half a box.. not that i am really worried about the box... but under the crystal of the watch it looks like it has waterspots... I don't see them all the time.. but it looks like it builds condensation like it isn't real water tight.. I have never gotten it wet... Nevertheless... I LOVE my Movado....

I was pleasantly suprised when I received my Movado Museum Watch from Amazon. The watch arrived promptly brand-new in wrapping with all necessary paperwork--including the Amazon guarantee. Regarding the size: the description provided by Amazon indicates that the dial is about 29mm. In reality, this case is closer to 26mm. Love the sleek, minimalist look of this piece which is timeless and can be worn for either casual or dress. Keep in mind that the watch is extremely lightweight, so if you want a hefty piece, this is not the one for you.
Please note that the strap is smaller--about 7 inches from buckle to buckle and may not work for larger women without switching out the strap. Please also note that the watch is 3ATM water resistant, which means it can best withstand splashes of water from rain or handwashing. Over all, this is an exceptional value for a Swiss Made timepiece.

I love this watch, I've worn it everyday since I got it and every time I look at it I feel great. My first watch (non-digital) was a Movado...I couldn't really tell the time and my friends made fun of me but there is just something about a Movado....

Unfortunately the leather band is short...it's fine for me because I have small wrists but a non-petite person would have to change the band in order to wear it. With that out of the way, you cannot buy a better watch.

My wife loves watches and I gave her this one for her birthday. This Movado is a very beautiful piece of design and simplicity. It is very classic and certainly stands out from the crowd. Highly recommend.

This is the 3rd Movado watch for Mom. She loves them, but the straps are bad. The last two have fallen off. She is getting a custom strap for this watch!

She loves the watch and will wear this one, but with a new strap!!
