This review is from: One Move to Better Golf (Hardcover)
Ideally this book would be released again. It is the best golf instruction book ever written. This was the top selling golf instruction book worldwide when it was released in the 1970's. My wish for the golfing world is for this book to be released agsin so that many can enjoy the game of golf.

Number 1 golf instruction book of all time!,

This review is from: One Move to Better Golf (Signet) (Paperback)
If you read this book from the 1970's you will understand how Tiger Woods, David Duval, Davis Love, Phil Mickelson and others swing with such power and control. In the introduction Dean Beman calls Carl Lohren's book, the cornerstone to golf instruction for the foreseeable future. Well 30 years later it is still the best written, most accurate and univerally applicable writing on the gof swing and how to create a sound, repeatable and dependable move. This book should be re-released. It has so much value to golfers of all skill levels.

Felt compelled to comment on this book. When I first started playing golf some thirty years ago, this was one of the first golf books I bought. I thought then and still do that a simple swing thought is key. Since then I've tried and experimented with lots of different methods and swing theories. I've enjoyed the game a great deal and have become a reasonably good player. I've been playing poorly as of late and decided to reread, "One Move to Better Golf". My playing partners have been saying, that they have never seen me hit it better and I would have to agree! Granted, I know a lot more about my swing, but good fundamentals, good footwork and a nice full shoulder turn against a firm right side and you too can hit the ball better than ever. I would highly recommend this book to beginners and advanced players alike.
