It's a light show. The good and the bad of these recharging stations, they all have bright lights.
This Move Charge Station can charge any combination of up to 4 Move controllers - White Controller and / or the Navigation Controller. Doesn't matter what combination, they will all charge. Clear plastic receptacle for each controller has a slot in the back to accommodate the wrist strap and there are simple gold plated contacts in the bottom to do the charging. No need to push the controller onto a USB adapter, the contacts are spring loaded and work when you just set the controller into the socket. The light show is pretty amazing. With no controllers in the base and the power button turned on, there is a pretty blue glow across the bottom of the base. Put in a controller and that light turns off, and the plastic glows red (like you see in the product picture). You'll notice the controller LED flashing red while the unit charges. Once the controller is fully charged, the plastic socket turns white. This unit is so much better than the overpriced two controller Sony version. I'm so glad we have this station. Constantly plugging in the USB connector to charge these things was a real pain in the neck. Nyko did a very nice job building this. The base looks nice and it works well. The addition of a power switch is very responsible of them. The charging contacts may get finicky over time, but for the moment they work very well.

I have the Nyko quad charging station for the Wii controllers. I have had it for over a year and it works like a charm, so it was a no-brainer for me to order this one for the PS3 Move. I like how easy it is to drop in the wands for charging. In an improvement over the design of the Wii, the Move charging station includes slots at the back of each "charging tube" so the cord does not get in the way. You can charge any combination of wands and navigation controls. There is a power switch on the front and it plugs into a wall from the back. The material is hard plastic and stylish.
When the controllers are charging, the charging "tubes" turn red. When charging is finished, they turn white. A blue light at the front of the charger indicates that the unit is turned on. PROS: Very easy drop-in feature to charge wands Bright indicator lights for charging status Stylish unit that is fairly compact. Can charge any combination of wands and navigation controllers at the same time. Made by Nyko. CONS: Very hard to get the navigation controllers to line up in the tube with the recharging connectors - you will have to do a bit of rotating to get the loud click and the light to come on. Lights might be a bit bright if you were to set this up directly under your TV. I would recommend moving it to a place that it out of the line of sight. Overall, I would have given it 4.5 stars, only because of the slight difficulty to get the navigation controls to line up on the first try in the charging "tube". However, this really isn't that big of a deal for me. We haven't used the nav controllers that much yet - the wands need the most frequent charging.

Great Christmas Decoration!
PROS: 4 port, price competitive. Gorgeous! Makes a beautiful red/white, bright LED lighted Christmas decoration! Seriously, it works well. Attractive 4 Port cradle that charges 4 move controllers or navigators (in any combination). It's a bit hard to get excited about a PS3 controller battery charger, but this one from NYKO works well. It's a little difficult inserting a controller with a wrist strap attached, to make contact with the base properly as you have to pull the strap tight from the bottom and up the back before inserting it in the charger, but it does what it's supposed to do, and can keep up to 4 controller's batteries topped off and ready to play. CONS: Not a true con, But I wonder who designs these things..? When I un-boxed it, I was almost afraid to TOUCH it without putting on white cotton gloves first, as the base is meticulously mirror finished in typical black piano luster, with a silvery chrome mirror finish trim on the sides. The 4 clear plastic holders remind me of crystal chandelier goblets atop the finest sterling silver and black onyx serving platter, fit for royalty. Then plug it in, and it lights up with beautiful red and white LED's and indirect lighting! Did I just describe a battery charger? Yes... That's my point. This charger works just fine, no problems there. But who in the world designs these things? This one looks like it should go atop a concert grand piano as a center piece for Liberace (unless you're a parent of a PS3 gamer you probably don't even know who he was...) Point is: The design and mirror finish is absolutely beautiful! But come on..., for a battery charger? There is NO WHERE to touch or hold this thing which you often need to do when inserting or removing a controller in it's cradle, without leaving finger prints and smudges! Practical? Only as long as you keep a microfiber cloth handy to polish it along with your sterling silver flatware for entertaining holiday guests! The designers should be awarded for the most beautiful PS3 charger I've seen, but they really needed some sort of matte, non finger print area to touch and steady it when inserting and removing controllers, without causing extra polishing work for the butler and the maid. The only other con I can think of, it that it does not lend itself to be used on an entertainment stand or shelf, unless it's the TOP shelf, as you need 18-24 inches clearance to insert and remove the controllers, especially the ones in the back. I would still purchase this one over the SONY 2 port model for roughly the same price.

Charges Four Move Controllers, and Looks Good Doing It.,
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: PS3 Move Charge Station Quad Port Charging Dock (Accessory)
I needed a charger that worked with all four Move controllers. The other quad chargers I have seen, only charge two Move controllers, while the other 2 spaces are for navigation controllers. While there was one other charger that worked with all four Moves, it received poor reviews. The controllers fit comfortably in their frame. Looks cool too while charging, with the LEDs lighting each space.

The charger really has a good look. I keep it visible in my family room and it looks really nice. It can handle 4 Move controllers or 2 Move controllers/2 navigation controllers, etc. You always see the picture with 2 of each, but I typically charge all 4 of my Move controllers at the same time. The color indicators showing if it is charging, charged, etc. are very nice and very visible. The downside - and it is minimal - is that it can be difficult to get the controllers seated in the charger so they charge. A lot of times, you have to wiggle the controllers around gently (don't force them!) in order for them to start charging. Fortunately the thing lights up once you get a controller seated. I have two big dogs and when they wrestle in the family room, the vibrations sometimes cause the controllers to come unseated and stop charging. Overall, nice product with a really nice look, I recommend it.

Pros: This is the perfect product to support PS3 gaming where Sony left off. It charges up to four Move or Navigation controllers in any combination.
This is a very aesthetically pleasing device, beautiful actually. All the stages of colors are bright and add a gaming feel to the room. The design is smooth, clean and colors are soothing. Besides, it just it looks cool. Lets you know when each controller is fully charged. Plugs into the wall instead of PS3 allowing independent charging without keeping PS3 on (whose idea was that anyway??). Cons: Sometimes just dropping the controllers in a slot is not sufficient to induce charging. Occasionally you need to jiggle a little to get them in the right spot. After all four controllers are charged the lights emitted from the device are bright enough to light a small room. Too much if you have company trying to sleep on the couch a few feet away. However, simply turning it off cures this. I have four Move controllers and one Navigation controller. Therefore, one controller (or two if I get another Nav) is/are always left out of the loop. A couple of USBs would have been nice.

This is a really cool charger for PS3 Move controllers. It will charge both types of controllers - Move and Navigational. The tubes which hold the controllers change color depending on the charge status. There is a power button conveniently located right on the front of the unit.
It makes charging controllers more convenient because you don't need to leave your PS3 on. Also, it will charge your controllers much quicker than using the USB cord hooked to the PS3. A great product. I'm very satisfied.

This product works well. As stated in another review the blinking white light is annoying when fully charged, but you can turn the unit off.
That 'feature' and the fact that you must take care when docking your devices to ensure it is aligned with the plug is the only thing that keeps this product from getting 5 stars. It works as advertised and sure beats using up your USB ports to charge your Move/Motion controllers.

This is better then the official sony one seeing you get 4 stations and it doesnt break. People have been complaining about the lights but quite frankly ther not that bad. It only lights up when your charging a controller and it just sets on the little prongs. It took me 3 tries to get the navigation controller into place but as long as you dont press down on it then it will not break. Great and worth the price!
