5.0 out of 5 stars New and Fresh Roots Reggae Rock
This new reggae band is phenomenal, and this is definitely the best new true roots reggae album (start to finish)released in quite some time. This album blends heavy bass roots reggae with rock and dub and also hints of jazz and R&B. The lead singer has a great voice and can carry songs himself and the band is tight all around and can really jam out...

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Roots Reggae
The best roots I've heard in a long time. I would have given it ***** but the disk was new from Amazon and the sound quality is the worst. I first thought it was a bootleg disk but upon further investigation. It's just a poor recording. I plan to find another copy else where.

5.0 out of 5 stars New and Fresh Roots Reggae Rock, August 30, 2008

This new reggae band is phenomenal, and this is definitely the best new true roots reggae album (start to finish)released in quite some time. This album blends heavy bass roots reggae with rock and dub and also hints of jazz and R&B. The lead singer has a great voice and can carry songs himself and the band is tight all around and can really jam out.

Every song on the album is great and has a distinct message and beat. Victims, Herb Fields and Farming give you classic roots culture music while songs like Special Place, How Much Longer and Jungle blend roots with rock unlike any other band has done before (except maybe for some Bob Marley and Steel Pulse tunes). The slower songs such as In My Hut and Rain really give the album a great balance.

For any roots reggae fan this is a highly recommended album and know you will not be dissappointed. If you are someone like me who is always looking for that new reggae album you will find this one to be fresh and addictive and will likely not be able to stop listening to it. In a short time of owning it, it has moved very quickly into my Top 10 all-time reggae albums.
