Why live without it?,
By Weetus Cren (Burbank, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Movie Business Book, 3rd Edition (Paperback)
If you have any interest in making movies (which I assume you would if you were reading reviews on a book called "The Movie Business Book") this book is essential. Read it twice before you make your first film and save yourself a lot of headaches and heartaches. Sure it doesn't answer everything, but it says way more than the price tag would suggest. Commit to reading it, or find another industry to work in. Also, if you are an actor (and you can read), it's time well spent. And if you're like me, and you rip out pages as you go instead of investing in a bookmark, I would also suggest the Kindle version. Also the Kindle version is lighter (in weight, not content) and less intimidating then a massive tome sitting on a bookshelf waiting to be read.
