The novelization of TMNT the movie as usual follows mostly with the movie with slight deviations that may have come from an earlier script version than what was produced or simply from the author's interperetation. In this particular novel it sometimes offers an enjoyable jog into the character's personalities and mindsets but just as often slows down the pace of the story.
The novel is written at a level that a younger audience; younger teenagers, preteens, and older kids, will enjoy most but it's worth a look for older fans as well.

I liked reading this book. It may be a chapter book, but when I read it for the first time, I just couldn't put it down. It has some things in common with the movie, but it has some things left out, like April meeting with Leo in the jungle. But all in all, great book.
