This review is from: A Movie Star's Daughter (1979) [VHS] (VHS Tape)
The Emmy Award winning A Movie Star's Daughter is a heart-warming tale of growning up and the joy, heartache and discovery that is childhood. Life can be hard on a kid. But being the new kid in town and the daughter of a famous personality can make things doubly hard. Dena should be happy becuase of her instant popularity - but she suspects it's becuase her father is a star. And as the school year progresses, she is confronted with an even more serious dilemma - to be a member of the "neat" group or become a "nerdy" reporter for the school newspaper. Along the way she will make some important discoveries on the REAL meaning of friendship.
Told with warmth and candor, and garnering much deserved critical acclaim, A Movie Star's Daughter shows that life in the spotlight is not always what it seems and that, often, the most touching dramas are the ones lived out daily.
Starring: Frank Converse . Marcia Rodd . Trini Alvarado
