I write mainly dramatic pieces and thrillers. My stories are usually born out of a strong sense of place. My characters start to speak to me and urge me to write about them. Why do I write? Because I want to know what happens in the end.
I was born in Manchester, England and lived there, in Leeds and Cambridge. Apart from my home country, I've also lived in Spain, Holland and now on the west coast of Canada. I have travelled to about 40 countries.
