I've followed Cleolinda's "Movies in Fifteen Minutes" (m15m) series from early on (my first memory is of reading "Troy in Fifteen Minutes" just before going to see it in the theater). Ever since, I followed Cleolinda's blog (Livejournal) for these hilarious parodies. I was very excited to learn there would be a book, but unfortunately, this book was never released in the US. Thanks to Amazon sellers, I was able to secure my copies, and they were worth every penny!

For those unfamiliar with m15m series, these are movie parodies in script format. There are ten m15m in the book, but other m15m are available, free of charge, at Cleolinda's blog (m15m . livejournal . com), which is definitely worth a visit. (Especially for those of us who are morbidly curious about the Twilight movies but wouldn't be caught dead in the theaters watching one.) The ten m15m in the book are:

1. Jurassic Park (1993)
2. Braveheart (1995)
3. Independence Day (1996)
4. Titanic (1997)
5. The Matrix (1999)
6. Gladiator (2000)
7. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Sorcerer's Philosopher's Stone (2001)
8. Spider-Man (2002)
9. Attack of the Clones (2002)
10. Lord of the Rings (2001-3; Fellowship of the Ring, Two Towers, Return of the King)

So you actually get 12 movie parodies rather than 10. It's worth noting that (most of) these are good movies. Cleolinda's parodies are affectionate and witty take on these movies, with plenty of tongue-in-cheek humor and seriously brilliant lines, but they aren't meant to be derogatory. This is one book guaranteed to brighten your day. Highly, highly recommended!

I adored the livejournal. I adore this book even more! Laugh out loud funny, so you might get stared at a bit while reading (I know I did!). The jokes are a bit more computer-jargon related, so some people may not get the humor. This book really makes you want to see a movie.

This is quite possibly the funniest book you'll ever read. If you or someone you know likes movies but has enough humor to laugh at them, buy this book immediately! It's well worth the price and you'll read it again and again.

This book is hilarious! I read many of the existing "movies" online, and once I found out there was a book, I HAD to have it. Well worth the cost for portable, re-readable amusement.
