This is how it should be done!, June 1, 2008
What a great album this is. Fronted by William Magalhaes, son of original leader, the late Oberdan Magalhaes, featuring original members and guests, this is a rare example of a band re-forming and making it as good as the original. Great vocals and musicianship and some of the best grooves around. The superb vocal arrangements are mainly by Brazilian soul legend Cassiano, who also takes the lead on a couple of tracks, and Claudio Zoli guests on guitar throughout. This is definitely a re-formation made for the love of the music, not just to cash in on a reputation. The countless bands who re-form just to perform third-rate cover versions of their old material should take note. This is how it should be done!
