We purchased this book to assist our son, who is almost 3, with our upcoming overseas move. While this book is not geared towards overseas moves, the pictures of the parents sorting their belongings, items going into a moving truck, and items being unloaded into a new home are wonderful. Our son has requested that we read this book many times -- it is in his "favorites" rotation.

This book was very helpful for my 2 daughters (2 & 7). It gave them an idea of what to expect when we moved so it was not so frightening. It was very simple and easy to understand.

This book is great to make moving to a new house, school, or city easier. It isn't one that we read again and again but it did give a great opening for conversations of topics related to the move. It is one that I will share with friends when moving. But I've never found a Usborne book that wasn't super.

BOUGHT THIS BOOK FOR MY GRANDSONS WHO ARE MOVING SOON AND THEY RELATED TO THE STORY AND NOW UNDERSTAND WHAT IS IN STORE FOR THEM. PICTURES AND TEXT ARE BOTH GREAT.

This book helped by 4 year old visualize the whole moving process. It was a little boring until we figured out that there is a yellow duck hiding on each page. That made my son want to read it. This booked helped him talk @ our upcoming move.

We are preparing to move and got this book for my 3 year. It goes through most of the steps of moving that directly affect young children and spin them in a positive light. My son enjoys reading this book and finding the duck on each page. Overall this is a great book for young children who are getting ready to move for the first time.

I have three year twins, and one of my twins has Autism. Our family was preparing to move to a new house and I knew this would be a very difficult transition for him. I ordered this book and read it to them every night for 2 weeks before the move to try and prepare them. The book is great, it is geared for young children, easy to understand and enjoy. I would recommend!!!!

it's a perfect gift to anyone with kids.

Great book for reading to children preparing for a move. Talks about getting ready for the move, movers coming into a home as well as moving into the new place. Our children still enjoy reading it after being settled in our new home.

This was one of the books that we read our three year old son in an effort to introduce the move. He happily helped pack his toys after we read this book a few times. He was also really excited when the moving truck arrived to take our things to the new apartment. We also read and enjoyed The Berenstain Bears' Moving Day.
