This review is from: Mozart: Adagios (Audio CD)
This cd is such an incredible collection of beautiful, moving, lyrical pieces that it is just a joy to hear. Cerovsek does a wonderful job interpreting Mozart, and this is just incredible work.

Corey Cerovsek and the Moscow Chamber Orch. are stunning!, March 16, 1999

This review is from: Mozart: Adagios (Audio CD)
This recording of Adagios and the like is extremely relaxing and moving at the same time. Mr. Cerovsek on the violin once again shocks with his amazing abilities. This is one of the best classical CDs I've heard in a while!

A Nice Anthology, July 26, 2009
This review is from: Mozart: Adagios (Audio CD)
This disk arrived with two big strikes against it: it was an anthology, and it was Mozart (now, that should generate a howls of protest...) I must admit, however, that this is a really nice anthology of some really nice Mozart, recorded in VR2 surround-sound by master engineer John Eargle. Actually, to label this as an "anthology" is a bit misleading, as that term conjures up the specter of a bunch of old performances from the Delos catalog being dumped together on one new disk for marketing purposes; instead, these are all new recordings. By the way, pianist Rosenberger performs not on some period instrument, but rather on a Bosendorfer that sounds as though it must be packing 400 hp under the hood--I mean, sounding board. Zoom!
