Wonderful example of quality music and mastering, October 24, 2011

This is an excellent compilation of songs and recordings. The quality of the recordings and mastering is top notch. I do not hear any background noise or distortion. They have made excellent use of the 5.1 capabilities of this DVD-Audio disc. The mixture between the front, center, and rear speakers is prefect. It's subtle and not overwhelming. It doesn't sound like the music is all around you. It sounds like you're sitting in a room, in which music is present. They could have not done a better job in splitting the sounds into the 5.1 channels. This is an excellent set to listen to, in addition to being great content to test out your surround sound system with.
