Deutsch goes to great lengths in order to provide the researcher (or avid Mozart fan) with the most complete secondary source available today. It is well organized, clear, and easy to maneuver through the massive documents written by Mozart, his family, colleagues, and critics. His recent publication of additional documents is a stunning testimony of dedication to one's subject. This book is a must-have in a Mozart library. I recommend it unreservedly.
