Blegen's Exultate Jubilate would be Wolfgang's favorite, October 27, 2003

This is the Exultate Jubilate that Mozart would buy. Judith Blegen's brilliant supple coloratura and dazzling technique in combination with her rare gift for stile galante phrasing makes this a CD you will listen to over and over and over. The disc has a wealth of artfully performed ensemble couplings with Pinchas Zukerman and also with trumpeter/conductor Girard Schwarz that will leave listeners breathless. Wait until you hear her Scarlatti. Wow!
Own it and be absolutely thrilled by Blegen's Mozart, Scarlatti and Handel.
