amazing - it works!,

This is the best of the bunch of theme Mozarts. I grabbed it off the rack because of the great cover (like the earlier theme albums.) Sluggish, not wanting to do it, I did try it on the upstairs bicycle and gradually it clicked in and it worked. Best session I've had in the six weeks I have had the machine. If you need exercise, you need this album.

Hmmmm...,
This review is from: Mozart for Your Morning Workout (Audio CD)
I did not like the concept or the cover of this CD, and did not consider buying it,... at first. I don't like most compilations because they usually include too many pieces I don't care for. However, daunted by collection prices at the moment and wanting the Academy of St. Martins, I listened to the pieces on this CD... OMG! I love it!!!! I LOVE Mozart's energy and these pieces are for me!
Also, I wanted to share Mozart with my 2nd grade class but the slower sadder pieces would have put them to sleep. This CD exactly fits my current needs! And,... cheap too. I couldn't be more thrilled. The collection I can ask for from my family as a birthday gift - and for now, I have my Mozart fix. No disrespect intended, but it's possible that reviewer #2 might derive some benefit from listening to "Tchaikovsky for Taking a Dump" :-)

Effective arrangement for moderately paced exercise,

Planning a musical arrangement for exercise can be a bit of a trick due to the requirement of strict consistency of tempo. Many songs while enjoyable simply aren't viable due to their resulting in the listener not being able to sustain a uniform cadence for the duration of their workout.I've found the selections of this arrangement to be effective for moderately paced exercise. Either a brisk walk, medium settings on an elliptical, or casual bike riding. If a more vigorous exercise regimen is what you're pursuing then a different selection may be in order. However, if your planned exertion level is along the lines of what I described above then this selection will most likely serve you well.

why?,

Why do they keep making these "Mozart (and other composers) for..." CDs? I know I know. For idiots to buy them of course so the record company can make tons of money. But I feel it's an insult to classical music. No offense but Mozart didn't write this music for you to sweat to. He couldn't care less how many calories you're burning to tell you the truth. I think he'd be pretty mad seeing how his music is being exploited these days. Why can't people just buy and listen to classical music as it was intended. Buy a set of Mozart's violin concertos or maybe Don Giovanni if you're so inclined. Work out to it if you want to. His Piano Concerto No. 20 is a good one to get your blood goin. I run to Beethoven's Missa Solemnis sometimes. But don't get this "potpourri excerpts from his work" trash. Gosh, these kinds of CDs have gone too far. What's next - "Tchaikovsky for Taking a Dump"? Sheeesh....Don't suport this if you care about preserving an art...
