Crisp, incisive, yet a million miles away from overbearing. Listening to these interpretations after squidging out on de Larrocha and Kissin the wunderkind, help remind me what Mozart is all about. Grace. Understated power. Style. The sound of the fortepiano on this disc is rich with enough crisp articulation to really make it stand out. Superb dynamics from Mr Hogwood & the AAM make this a must have.
