This review is from: Mozart: String Quartets (Complete), Vol. 8 (Audio CD)
Éder Quartet in these K.499, 590 and 546 is very good, though not excellent. Having a genuine professional austerity, it is utterly faithful to the Mozartian accuracy as well as to his "pathos". These qualities are sufficient and fundamental for the chosen pieces.
