This is a sensationally delicious piece of music. Hayley Westenra's lovely vocals will sweep you away. Her piercingly high and smoothly flowing soprano background vocal is particularly striking. It's a shame that this single hasn't been released in an English-language version, but believe me, the performance and arrangement here would be worth owning in ANY language! Buy this single before it disappears for good---you will become as addicted to it as I am!

I had the pleasure of seeing Hailey perform this past Christmas Season with the Boston Pops orchestra. I had never heard her sing before, nor had I ever heard her name. She was amazing. My family and I and the whole audience sat in absolute astonishment during her all to brief performance. At the end of her performance she received a lengthy standing ovation. She outshined the Boston Pops. Obviously that night I went to Amazon and bought her Pure Album which is in the car CD changer and played often. Her voice absolutely wonderful.

I just got this (here on Amazon). The tracks are:

Those are Japanese characters in the third title. (Thank you, CDDB; I never would've figured them out myself.) [Edit: Looks like the Japanese characters may not come through in the review. They showed up in the text box. Oh, well.]

As reported, it's apparently a German classical song. The first two tracks are in German -- as the tracks say, first slow, then faster. The third is apparently the same song in Japanese. Yes, Hayley sings all three.

The lyrics are printed inside the sleeve. I'm not even going to attempt to figure out how to do the Japanese characters, but the German is as follows. (There may be typos; I was not watching the screen most of the time while I typed them.)

As for my personal rating, this is a beautiful song and performance, but probably only "average" compared to Hayley's other work. If I had heard it first, I may not have been willing to spend the $22.50 import price. It would've been worth the normal price of a CD single, though. I wish it was available in the (U.S.) Apple Music Store.

Very good CD it is played for my son who seems to be able to go to sleep as soon as he hears it. Not surprising as he is listening to the voice that can only belong to an Angel. I reccomend this CD to anyone who wants to listen and relax. 5 stars is not enough this one rates higher than that.

Hayley is a very beautiful talented young lady. Everything she does is always a oustanding production.
