Ordered this specifically because of the brass bristles. When it arrived it had steel bristles. Was at a local Meijer store and saw a virtually identical brush with brass bristles for only $1.99.

I found this brush through a link from the Mr. Bar-BQ website. The Item number on Amazon was for the brass brush, but the description didn't say that it was brass. When I received the brush it was stainless steel. The Item number on the brush was different than on the order slip.
Now here is why I like dealing with Amazon. I went online filled out some questions, clicked on a box to have Amazon CS call me, within 10 seconds my phone rang. Minor language barrier explaining what the problem was, but he said to keep the SS brush and they would send me a brass one right away. A couple days later I had my brass brush, and am very pleased with it. Nice long handle so I don't singe the hair off my hands, and the brass is easy on the cast iron grates.
At $5 the price is right, if you have other stuff you are ordering so you can get the free shipping.

This long handled wide porcelain grill brush would be a great addition to the regular grill brush you have. This brush is able to get in between the grill slots to have a better cleaned grill!

I simply needed a brush to clean my coated grill grates. The product review said it would be safe and not scratch them and so far so good. I can quickly get loose debris off the grill and start grilling.

I've used this brush for years because the length of the handle suits me best and how well it cleans the grill without damage. I've been buying it at local hardware stores for more than double the price. I can get it here at amazon much cheaper with free shipping.

This brush does exactly what it is supposed to do. the other reviewers were hard on it, but my experience has been excellent. For the price and job, I highly recommend. Stands up to abuse. Go for it!

Only two uses in, the plastic handle cracked and slid off. It can still be used but might get hot with prolonged use on a warm grill. The bristles have begun to mat down and it is as if you are trying to clean and scrape with the metal body of the brush. I can and still do use the item with its problems so it still serves a purpose. I did give it 3 stars because it was inexpensive and that was my main reason for purchasing this particular brush.

At the time I bought this brush it was about half the price (~$6) of the very similar Weber brush. There's a reason it's half the price, there's less than half the bristles. My Weber brush lasted about a year, this one only a few months. At the current price of $21 it's an absolute ripoff. Buy the Weber brush instead.

It's a brush. It works great for...brushing things. This brush has steel bristles though, not brass as pictured which means I'm going to have to be a little more careful about making sure it doesn't rust. Otherwise, there's not much more to say.
