It is everything that the description says it is, no more and no less. It is well constructed - strong and nice appearing. I bought it for use during backyard barbeque events. The plastic parts are thick, but they seem like they might be brittle. However, I have never dropped them nor have I broken any. My guess is, that if you leave them in bright sunlight long enough, they will likely discolor and degrade as almost all plastic does, so I suggest putting them away after use. The trays are not large enough for condiments if you are having a large gathering, unless you refill them from time to time, but I knew that going in.My title says nice for the price, but that is based on the price of similar items that I could find, I actually think they are pricey personally, but these were the best priced ones I could find. I bought them to add a professional touch to the outdoor kitchen, and that they do well. Of course it is nice to have a neat, compact way to keep condiments from drying out too quickly and keeping flying insects out, so functionally they are very useful. The food is protected, yet easily accessed. I am satisfied with my purchase. I gave it 5 stars, because it is a quality item, but I was tempted to give it 4 stars because I think the price is a bit high.

Had previously purchased some other condinment trays that were similar but always showed up with the clear plastic lid broken. This has a SOLID clear top piece and is overall well built. If you are looking for a condiment tray of this style this is the one to buy.
