5.0 out of 5 stars Light reading of the uproarious kind, July 3, 2000
By
This review is from: Mr. Bean's Diary (Paperback)
This id-driven year in the life of Mr. Bean will convulse even those not familiar with this (usually) silent star of British comedy. All you need to know is that he's a picky, simple-minded London bachelor gone irretrievably around the proverbial bend by several centimeters. The doodles, crazed poems, souveniers, shopping lists, photos & letters crammed into his ...borrowed volume (originally a Highbury District Council Diary) paint the rest of the picture, and his many obsessions (& possibly prosecutable acts) will make your eyes widen in alarm even as you cackle aloud. Awesome.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Hilarious, June 15, 2004
This review is from: Mr. Bean's Diary (Paperback)
Mr Bean aka Rowan Atkinson is one of my favorite comedian. He manages to crack you up without resorting to low down slapstick humor. The book is a must-read for Mr Bean fans, and for those of you who have yet to see his TV shows (way better than the movie), I highly recommend this book. It is guaranteed to give me tummyaches from laughing too hard.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, August 3, 2005

This review is from: Mr. Bean's Diary (Paperback)
This book is hilarious and makes for simple, entertaining reading. It consists of a diary in which Mr. Bean records his various escapades (in his untidy scrawl) and keeps his letters and newspaper clippings. It contains quite a few references to the episodes themselves, and it's necessary to read it more than once to appreciate the full humour value. I recommend this book to all fans of Mr. Bean.

This book is a triumph of comedy. If you have ever seen "Mr. Bean" you will love this book. It contains doodles, inventions, photos, notes to Mr. Bean, letters to Mr. Bean, crazy ideas of Mr. Bean has and it chronicles the hilarious mishaps of Mr. Bean through his own notes and article cutouts

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Funny, August 14, 1998

This review is from: Mr. Bean's Diary (Paperback)
If you have seen Rowan Atkinson as Mr. Bean or as himself you know what this book means, it is hilarious. I started reading it at my office and I couldn't put it down, I started to laugh and everyone was staring at me, my advice: read it where you can laugh all you want and no one will care.
