I bought one last November.My #3 transmitter malfunctioned in mid December 2008 last year. I procrastinated until the 90 day warranty expired to report the problem. It was out of warranty so I was going to BUY a new #3 transmitter. " NO CAN DO!" said GE and Santa' best craft (makers of the system). We will not sell you parts for it. You have to buy A WHOLE NEW SYSTEM!!!!!! CHA CHING! Their system is like a $170 diaper....use once and dispose in the garbage.

We only have two controllers left working. I do not recommend this. I am as we speak looking for options.

I got one of these units at a retail store last year, after Christmas. So it sat in the box until this Christmas since I had not need of it at the time. With a 90-day warranty, I was screwed from the get go. This unit does not seem to like being connected to a timer at all. Everyday I had to go out and manually restart the system. Often times I would have to reset it one or more times during the evening. I would find the music stuck in a 3-second loop or one or more transmitters not flashing the lights. Even with the manual I was unable to correct the issue. The maker of the product "Mr. Christmas" with their supposed dedication to making quality products would not cover this obvious defect. I would recommend against buying this product.

I do not have one but have been lookig long and hard at this. The other reviewer claimed there were
no parts available. I really don't think he tried. Anyway, that's beside the point. This is manufactured
by "Mr. Christmas", and marketed by GE. They show replacement controllers available for $7.50 each.
