4.0 out of 5 stars Great system, but doesn't last as long as desired

4.0 out of 5 stars Great system, but doesn't last as long as desired, January 16, 2005
Been using Mr Clean AutoDry system for a while now. As long as the filter refill is not used up (stops deionizing the water), you'll get a nice sheeting effect when you rinse the vehicle off, allowing it to dry spot-free. The thing you have to remember is that this isn't a pressure washer, or anything other than a system. You have to wet the vehicle, wash with the system's soap, and then rinse with normal water. When you're ready to dry, use the filtered water, and then let dry! Best if you wash your vehicle in a shaded area, or the soap/rinse water will dry leaving spots.

The only negative I have with it is that it doesn't last very long when you've got a full-size truck and a minivan that needs washing. After 2-3 washes of my vehicles (total, not each!) the filter doesn't deionize as well. But sure does make drying much easier on these big vehicles! No more hand drying for me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Spot Free Shine, June 12, 2005
I recieved the Mr. Clean Auto Dry system for fathers day. Im usually skeptical about products that are new to the market place, and one with the incredible claim that this product makes, that it will give a spot free shine without using a towel, well quite frankly I was very skeptical about this products claim. I used it today and was very impressed. It took about 10-15 minutes to dry but when it did, my beautiful silver car looked better than when I used a shamois. It was very easy and it saved me the elbow work and the 20 minutes I would have spent drying the car. I am a big fan of the auto dry system, and will never towell dry again.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mr Clean AutoDry Refill Filter (10-Use), August 23, 2005

this so easy to work with. Watch the beads flow across your car as you apply it. Leaves a protection clear as glass. I've not only used it on our cars but on my snowblower, the awnings on our home & I'm thinking of other uses.

The Mr Clean AutoDry system is used on all our vehicles including our 36' motorhome. It's amazing to see how there is no spotting. I would definitely recommend this system for anyone who is worried about spotting. (We have extremely hard water!)

Mr Clean Autodry refill cartridges fit in a special car washing head for the hose, which also has a dispenser for a Mr Clean soap.

Used properly, the Autodry system really does what is advertised. It provides rinse water free of minerals and junk, so that you don't need to dry your car after you wash it. It saves time, and I suspect a bit of wear on your paint, too.

I'm impressed at how well the system works. As someone who has to take care of several cars, the time savings are most appreciated,

I use the Mr. Clean AutoDry mainly for my motorcycle, as they take a lot of time to wash and dry. The AutoDry really works, and makes washing the cycle very easy and much less time consuming.

5.0 out of 5 stars It Works, September 23, 2008
This review is from: Mr. Clean AutoDry Refill Filter, 10-Use (Automotive)
The Mr. Clean AutoDry Filter worked great. It eliminated water spots and the need for a wipedown after washing the car. Rarely have I experienced a product that lived up to it's hipe.

The main drawbacks are the number of uses before needing to replace the filter and the fact that the cost of shipping re-orders is as much as the cost of product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adds 50 cents a wash for a spot free dry, June 25, 2007
By
These can be had for about five bucks at the local retail store. The Mr. Clean Auto Dry system works wonders if you have hard water from your garden hose that leaves spots on your cars. I live in an area with very hard water, and if I don't thoroughly dry my car immediately after every wash I will have hard water stains until I polish it.

The Mr. Clean Auto Dry system makes it so I have no water spots on the car, and sometimes a few very faint spots on the windows without any drying. So for 50 cents a wash and I don't have to dry my car, I am getting a great deal. I am very pleased with the results, the negative comments seem to be from people that aren't using the product correctly, or don't need to because they don't have hard water. If you have hard water, a product like this is a must.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great product when it was made, March 9, 2011

Great idea when it first came out a few years back. Problem is now that Procter and Gamble has discontued the system along with the soap and filters. The few filters left on the market are selling for up to ten times the original price so when I run out of filters the whole system goes in the trash!
